As the Product Design Lead at Sociability, my primary goal was to foster a culture where product innovation and user experience take centre stage. I believe that when everyone in the organisation, from engineers to marketing, adopts a product mindset, the result is solutions that genuinely meet user needs and drive business growth.

Inviqa had recently been acquired by Havas. As part of this acquisition we also merged with another design team. As you can imagine, our normally well-oiled machine was thrown into chaos and we were struggling to keep up with demand and figure out how to work well together. I had recently come across a new buzz word, DesignOps. Could this be the answer?

The 'Saved Accessibility Filters' feature for the Sociability app was carefully designed to simplify the search process and cater to our users' unique needs. Upon onboarding, users are prompted to save their accessibility preferences, which are then stored and can be quickly applied to any future searches.
